With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Selene Sapphire Malena (Duncanville, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 1. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Selene Sapphire shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Selene Sapphire farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edna I. Cano and Benjamin A. Malena; her grandparents, Benjamin, Chiquitha Renee Malena, Esmerejildo and Elda Cano; and her great-grandparents, Ruby Malena-Jones, Willie and Marlese Hooker.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jaynes Memorial Chapel (811 S Cockrell Hill Rd, Duncanville, TX 75137). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
