He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merrill Douglas and Gertrude Douglas; his children, Paul and Rebecca; his wife Janet Metzger; his children-in-law, Scott Kinzie and Ester Douglas; his grandsons, Melchor Douglas (Tanya), James Kinzie (Jennifer) and Robert Kinzie; and his great grandchildren, Mateo, Mason Douglas, Charlotte, Catherine and Campbell Kinzie.
He donated his time, experience and knowledge and through it he shaped the lives of many people.
