She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Vela and Nestora Vela; her husband Henry Ferrer; and her siblings, Manuel Vela, Eusebio Vela, Guadalupe Vela, Dominga Guerrero and Flora Hernandez.
She is survived by: her sister Juanita Medina; her children, John Ferrer, Henry Ferrer Jr., Mary Ann Flores, Patricia Ferrer and Lisa F. Berreondo (Mynor); and her grandchildren, Monica, Michael, Faustino III, Kristina, Nicholas and Vivian. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
