Mother Cordie V. Tarver-Hill Obituary

Cordie V was a mother of 6, a grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 36 and a great-great grandmother of 7. She loved each one of them in her own way. Cordie V lived to be 92 years of age and until the day she passed on October 19th she was in her right mind.

Cordie V was born to CT Lewis and Veda Roney on April 6th 1928 in Omaha Texas. Cordie V was raised by her grandmother, Nattie Roney in Omaha. She had only one sister, Teretha Reeves that she has met on the other side.

Cordie V. will be leaving to cherish her memories, Daughter, Hattie Walden and son in-law, Vern Walden in Josephine TX; daughter, Eunice Tarver in Denton TX; son, Ronald Jennings and daughter in-law, Deborah Jennings both in Mt Vernon N.Y. and daughter, Schneda Tarver in Denton TX; grandchildren, Kenneth Marshall, Lakeisha Johnson, Rhonda Corbin, Larry Jennings, Monica Nunn, Sylvester Jennings, Jr., Kevin Shaw, Vanita Jennings, Raquel Jennings, Adelle Jennings, Tiana Jennings, Davone Tarver, Kawone Medlock, Rosalyn Medlock, Iesha Elam and Ann Tonya Jennings; 36 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and host of other family friends.

Cordie V was called to glory on October 19, 2020 to meet her maker. She will be joining her father, CT Lewis; Mother, Vada Roney; grandmother, Nettie Henderson; sister, Teretha Reeves; granddaughter, Tonya Edmonds; daughter, Eula Jennings and son, Sylvester Jennings. I bet they all are having a big celebration.
