She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Anna and Thomas Edwin Ingram; her daughter Annie Sue Carter Hayes; her son-in-law Richard Loren Macy Sr.; her siblings, Pauline Enge and Byron Ingram; and her grandson-in-law James Franklin Macy-Simpson.
She is survived by: her former husband Joseph C. Carter; her daughter Ruby Elizabeth Macy; her stepson Rev. Michael Brooks; her grandchildren, Richard L. Macy Jr., David Lewis Macy (Elizabeth), Joseph Samuel Macy (Karen) and Mary Frances Macy Gibbons (Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Corey Thomas Norton, Austin Taylor Norton, Kathryn Elizabeth Macy and Joseph Alan Macy.
