He was predeceased by: his wife Cecile Price Alexander. He is survived by: his son Mark Steven (Karen); his grandchildren, Ariel (Gerhard Arnsdorff), Lucas (Joy Freemyer) and Steven; his great grandchildren, Matthias, Thomas, Nicolás, Tobias and Marianne; his sister Carole Alexander; and his sister-in-law Ellen Price.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jaynes Memorial Chapel (811 S Cockrell Hill Rd, Duncanville, TX 75137). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Little Bethel Memorial Park (1803 Cedar Hill Rd, Duncanville, TX 75137).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the International Mission Board.
