With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lowell Richard Melton of Duncanville, Texas, born in Milltown, Indiana, who passed away on July 18, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Paul; and his son Douglas Melton. He is survived by: his wife Dorla Melton; his siblings, James Melton, JD Melton (Marilyn) of Dallas City, Georgia Lauer of Burlington, Pam Orth of Dallas City and Shirley Melton (late James Melton) of Des Moines, Iowa.; his children, Teri Nelson of Cedar Hill, Lori Melton-Dahl of Dallas and Richard Darin "Bo" Melton (Rachael) of Concan; his daughter-in-law Beth Melton of Midlothian; and his grandchildren, Josh Melton (Kimberly), Beau Melton, Alex LaFleur (Jonathan), April Melton (Matt Schimek), Charles Melton (Emily), Karissa Melton (Chris), Ashley, Fawn, Cody Brown, Abbey Cain, Declan Cain, Hannah Kannady (Trevor), Nigel Nelson, Trevor Nelson and Jace Melton.
