She was predeceased by: her husband Roby Robards; her parents, Paul Higgins and Opal Higgins; and her brother Jerry Paul Higgins. She is survived by: her children, Shannon Robards of Midlothian and Brandon Robards of Dallas; her sister Sue Dorsey of Houston; her nephews, Brad and Grant Dorsey; and her niece Susan Dorsey.
