She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton H Chandler; her son Jamie Lee Chandler; and her parents, William Fields and Annie Fields (Smith). She is survived by: her sons, Kenny Chandler (Debbie), Gary Chandler (Shirley) and David Chandler (Bonnie); and her grandchildren, Kena Dawn Rushing and Coby Ray Chandler. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

“10/21/2023 to the family of joann chandler. sure enjoyed out yearly visits with her and Cliff at the manual jackson smith family reunions at the hodgson water mill in sycamore missouri. i have a couple of tapes of cliff's songs. they were good people. i will pass this obit on to the smiith clan by email. we finally stopped the yearly gatherings a few years ago=age health slowy caused those left to dwindle= lasted 40 years. all good times. lloyd and bev weathermon”
