He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Sr. Norris and Jennie V Norris; his wife Frances Pendegraft; his sister Lola Lestrick; and his son RoyLee Pentecost.

He is survived by: his children, Sherry, Debbie Fox (late Steve), Jimmie (Lisa), Donna and Traci; his grandchildren, Mustafa, Kerrie, Donnesha, Jasmin, Jade, Jason and Nicholas; his goddaughters, Tosha and Callie; and his daughter Marcella. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
