She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pervis Taylor and June Taylor; her husband Calvin; her son Christopher; her granddaughter Reign; and her siblings, Carolyn McElroy (Robert), Venetia Kelly, Pervis Jr. and Kendall Taylor. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and friends.

“In loving memory of Janet Marie Graham, Someone so special will not be forgotten. We met in 2005 when I joined the Dallas VA MICU-CCU staff. Janet extended her support and encouragement then and continued during our friendship. She was a coworker, a friend, a patient advocate, a mother to Christopher, a grandmother to Raine, a sister, a daughter, a niece and much more to so many people. Janet could make the worst sour-puss smile and trust her. She is missed terribly. See you later Jan!”

“Dear Carolyn and Family, With a saddened heart, I extend my condolences to you in the loss of my dear friend and college classmate, Janet. She will be greatly missed for Janet never knew a stranger and always had a smile (grin) that made your day brighter. The MICU/CCU staff will have an empty void that cannot be filled because there was only one Janet--from the time I met her at TWU and until the time she moved back to Dallas.
