He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Lucille and William Alexander Butcher; his wife Anne Louise Phillips Butcher; his children, Pamela Butcher Baker and Philip Howard Butcher; his daughter-in-law Sherry Mayo Butcher (Keith Edward Butcher); his grandchildren, Courtney Butcher Sanquinetti, Lauren Baker Watson, Natalie Baker Gaither, Zach and Julia Butcher; and his siblings, Randolph Butcher, Margaret Butcher Munse and Francis Butcher Griswold. He was also cherished by six great grandchildren.
