He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnnie Adkins and Connie Adkins; his wife Anna Sue Adkins; his sons, Pete Adkins of Dallas, TX and Todd Adkins of Mandeville, LA; and his siblings, Peggy and Donald. He was also cherished by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
