In lieu of flowers, my dad would have wanted contributions to go to causes that help the poor and or sick of which one that he helped serve in was the North Texas Food Bank that have been financially supported by Grace Place Church of Christ with meals that are distributed to those in need at their building on Big Stone Gap.

“To the Dacus Family, It seems our family has always know yours. Three of us girls would be Edie's for a weekend a month when the girl from Christ Haven would come. The first "road" trip, Al took us four girls and we were able to talk him into letting 11 and 12 year old girls drive his little foreign car. Yes, Al would in the driver's seat but we filled up the people space. It looked like a squared off "smart car". We all loved your parents and I taught 4 year olds with Edie in Sunday school”
