He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Meier and Leona Meier; his wife Elizabeth Meier; his nephew Jason Blake; and his brother-in-law Jerry Blake.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deatra and Marlena (Pete Alaspa); his grandchildren, Deatra (Tracy Foy), Ashley Burt, Melanie Flanagan, Brandon Alaspa, Briana Flanagan, Brittany Zamora and Erika Murray; his sister-in-law Janie Wood; his niece Jena Blake; and his nephews, Jared Blake and Jeremy Blake. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
