With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Grogan (Duncanville, Texas), who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Edna may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Barney Ray Grogan; and her daughter Margaret Tidwell. She is survived by: her children, Don Grogan (Cynthia), Wayne Grogan, Ray Grogan (Becky) and Linda O'Mealia (Don); and her son-in-law Roger Tidwell. She is also survived by one sister and one brother and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Jaynes Memorial Chapel (811 S Cockrell Hill Rd, Duncanville, TX 75137). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
