He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Ray Shields of Dallas Texas; and his brother Malcolm Edward Shields (Emilie Sabrina Shields). He is survived by: his mother Lorita Florence Shields of Birkenhead England; his siblings, Karin Anne Cahoon, David Kenneth Shields and Patrick Lyman Shields; his brother-in-law Ricky James Cahoon; and his nieces and nephews, Jared Lavar Cahoon, Jason Kenneth Cahoon, Tanner Lyman Shields, Amanda Christine Cotter, Diana Kimberly Cahoon, Linda Rose Cahoon and Mardie Lee Shields.
