She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Williams and Jessie Faye Sanford Williams; her children, Gerald T. Waite (Jerry), Carol Waite Crow and Loran Mixson; her sister Jean Williams Brown; her brother-in-law Olen Brown; her brother Butch Williams; her husbands, Clyde T. Waite and Dauthard "Dal" Mixson; and her nephew Marcus Doyle Brown.
She is survived by: her son Ralph Waite; her daughters-in-law, Barbara Waite and Brenda K. Waite; her daughter Sharon Mixson Brown; her son-in-law James Brown; and her grandchildren, Thomas Crow, Jaimie Crow, Jill Brown Brewster, Nathan Brewster, Dietra Brown Shepard, Brian Shepard, Talena Mixson, Cameron Mixson and Kymberly Mixson. She is also survived by 14 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Doris took her pain, and new skills, and turned them into her life's purpose which was to provide for her children and to raise them with a firm foundation and a steadfast heart for Jesus.
