He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Raines (Don) and Gertrude Catherine Sasser Raines; his brothers, Howard and Timothy; and also Sam Underwood.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary 'Carol Grimes; his sons, Stephen Michael and Philip Alan (Christina); his wife Carol; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Raines, Jesalyn Raines, Aaron Raines, Ava Raines, Samuel Raines and Benjamin Raines; his siblings, Roland Raines (Cheryl) and Janet Schafer; and also John Grimes (Sharon). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Alzheimers Association or any charity of your choice.
