He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Marie Bloomer; his parents, Oscar Jacobson and Mina Jacobson; and his brother Alvin Jacobson. He is survived by: his son Steve (Robin); his grandchildren, Chadwick (Mandy), Collin, Caitlin, Mikaela, Colton, Kaela and Aerin; his sister Sherrill Albrecht (Ron); and his sister-in-law Traci Jacobson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his name be made to Momentous Institute, a nonprofit organization located in Oak Cliff, TX, dedicated to providing mental health services and education to underserved families across Dallas, the majority of whom speak Spanish.
