He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Carmon Chandler and Augusta "Gusta" Amelia Gunterson Chandler; and his brothers, James, Carmen, Ansel, Les, Stafford and Irvin.
He is survived by: his wife Joann; his sons, Kenny Chandler (Debbie), Gary Chandler (Shirley), David Chandler (Bonnie) and Jaime Chandler; and his siblings, Gene, Melba and Nellie. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
