She was predeceased by: her parents, Volney Guy Thornton and Annie Augusta Winkler Thornton; her husband Donald W. Reed; and her brother Charles Guy Thornton. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Bowling (Louis), Becky Pohlen and Steve Reed (Jean). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jaynes Memorial Chapel (811 S Cockrell Hill Rd, Duncanville, TX 75137). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
