She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Rhodes and Steven Rhodes; and her spouse Willie A. Kelley. She is survived by: her children, Reginald (Annette), Jackie (Preston) and Jean (late Marshall). She is also survived by her kids, her grandkids, and her great grandkids.

She raised three children while working tirelessly, instilling lasting lessons of faith and ensuring each of them had a solid educational foundation.
