He is survived by: his mother Beatrice Villarreal (Basaldua) of Tulia; his son Matthew Medina of Amarillo; his stepdaughters, Monica Martinez of Frisco, Diane Garcia of Amarillo and Angelina Martinez of Amarillo; and his brothers, Steven Medina of Tulia, Michael Medina of Tulia and Robert Villarreal of Tulia. He is also survived by two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
