With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Scroggs of Dumas, Texas, born in Orange, California, who passed away on June 8, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shelton and Evelyn Shelton (Griffin); and her daughter Shawn McKibben. She is survived by: her husband Wilford Scroggs; her children, Dewey Hutcherson II (Rhonda) of Dumas, TX, Tracy Hutcherson of Raleigh, NC and Boniene Scroggs (Vic Shepherd) of Augusta, WV; her siblings, Rob Shelton (Mary) of Dallas, TX and Jimmie Kay Lamb of Lubbock, TX; and her friend Virginia "Monkey" Hicks of Amarillo, TX.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
