It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Boyd of Dumas, Texas, born in Childress, Texas, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, B. J. Boyd and Lennie Louise Boyd (Wood); his son Bryan Boyd; his brothers, Johnny Boyd, Tommy Moss and Jimmy Moss; and his sister-in-law Joan Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Love; his son Brent Boyd (Ritche) of Dumas; his brothers, Jackie Boyd of Euless, TX, Louis Boyd of Beleen, NM and Acie Boyd (Margo) of Lubbock, TX; his sister-in-law Sandy Boyd of Vernon, TX; his granddaughters, Tracie Boyd of Dumas and Diana Boyd (Dylon Jones) of Amarillo, TX; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Jones and Liam Jones of Amarillo, TX.. He is also survived by other numerous nieces and nephews as well as other extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
