We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2025, at the age of 70, Maria S. Contreras of Dumas, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Concepcion Menes and Raquel Menes (Jaramillo); her brother Pedro; and her daughter Vasty. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Jose Contreras; her daughters, Audrey Contreras of Dumas, TX, Arianna Quezada (Jairo) of Dumas, TX and Amber Contreras of Dumas, TX; her grandchildren, Abram, Jacob, Alan and Simone; and her siblings, Cirilo G., Eleuterio, Isaias, Alicia, Isabel, Celica Marianela and Concepcion. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Templo Aposento Alto (901 Zauk Ave, Dumas, TX 79029). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
