He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Pete" Harley, Sr. and Lillian Louise Bussard (Holland); and his brother Sydney Wayne Bussard. He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his children, James Bussard (Candi) of Dumas, TX and L. Suzanne Jeffries (Marquez) of Forney, TX; his grandchildren, Hunter Bussard, Dane Stavenhagen, Ainsley Bussard, Gavin Coleman, Michelle Almonte-Jeffries, Jackson Jeffries and Brooklyn Jeffries; his sister Janet Garner of Amarillo, TX; and his close friend Larry Appel (Judith) of Dumas, TX.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beeson-Morrison Funeral Directors (1015 S Dumas Ave, Dumas, TX 79029). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Street Church (1715 E 1st St, Dumas, TX 79029). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Northlawn Memorial Gardens (500 E 1st St #209, Dumas, TX 79029).
