He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Venable and Bessie Venable; his daughter Elizabeth Ann Farni; his sister Betty Sullivan (Jim); his grandson Trey Tipton; his brother-in-law Delbert Robertson; and his nephews, Jimmy Byron and Michael McCaskill.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Venable of Dumas; his children, David Venable (LeAnn) of Dumas and Michelle Mahaffee (Bob) of Spearman; his siblings, Jimmy Venable (Paula) of Dumas and Mary Robertson of Dumas; his brother-in-law Tom Roberts (Leslie); his grandchildren, Shasta Jones (Bubba), Sabra Henry (Kasey), Savannah Rhoades (Austin), Natalie Mahaffee, Gary Griffin (Cassie), Brittany Jones (Stetson), Brandon Griffin, Tandon Tipton and Tyler Tipton; and his great grandchildren, Zackry Grice, Zaelee Jones, Kyler, Kyndle Henry, Creed, Gauge Rhoades, Avery, Haze Griffin, Harlee and Jaxon Jones.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and suggests in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to the Moore County Senior Citizens, 701 E. 16th St., Dumas, Texas 79029.
