He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Barr and Jewel Barr (Farquhar); and his siblings, Myrion Barr Malone, Shirley Jean Barr, Darla Sue Barr, Floydene Barr Carlson, Willena Mae Barr Cook and Allan Wayne Barr.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Barr (Brenda) of Dumas, TX and Jeff "Fro" Barr (Sheri) of Dumas, TX. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; 3 nieces and 3 nephews.
The family requests, with gratitude, memorials be made to Dumas Little League, Dumas Babe Ruth or Dumas Temple Baptist Church Youth.
