He was predeceased by: his father Charles Collier; and his brother Bobby Phillips. He is survived by: his mother Pattie Lou Phillips (Wright); his wife Dianne; his daughters, Kaycie Phillips of Amarillo, TX and Chelsea Paredes (Joshua) of Amarillo, TX; his granddaughters, Ava, Zoey and Emma Paredes; and his brother Billy Phillips (Carrie) of Bedford. He is also survived by numerous other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
