Glynda Pflug Obituary
In loving memory of Glynda Pflug of Dumas, Texas, who departed this world on December 17, 2024 at the age of 84. Glynda leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Glynda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Glynda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Vernon and Selma Northcott (Symank); her husband Gerald Pflug; her brother Tommy Northcott; and her half-sister Norma L. Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Rick (Lavonda) of Amarillo, Brian (Lisa) of Huntsville and Krista Floyd (Quintin) of Amarillo; and her brother Richard "Butch" Northcott (Barbara) of Canadian, TX.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Art Center (1810 S Dumas Ave, Dumas, TX 79029). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church (401 Binkley Ave, Dumas, TX 79029).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests with gratitude, memorials be made to First Methodist Church, P.O. Box 395, Dumas, TX or to Window of the Plains Museum, 1820 S Dumas Ave., Dumas, TX 79029.
