It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eloise Tijerina Marquez of Dumas, Texas, born in Dale, Texas, who passed away on July 10, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eulojio Tijerina and Maria Tijerina; and her husband Domingo Marquez Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Anita Marquez of Dumas, Rosalinda Arellano (Ruben) of Dumas, Domingo Marquez Jr. (Eileen) of Raton, Noe Marquez (Rosa) of Dumas and Eulojio Marquez (Santa) of Dumas; and her siblings, Paul Tijerina of Amarillo, Ernest Tijerina of Plainview, Raymond Tijerina of Amarillo, Santiago Tijerina of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mary Louise Valenzuela of Plainview, Eva Martinez of Hale Center, Amelia Rodriguez of Plainview, Gloria Woicke of Kansas City and Maria Garcia of Brady. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
