Christopher Alvarez Obituary
Christopher Alvarez, 46 of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o'clock in the evening on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 o'clock in the morning on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Luis Lopez as celebrant. Private interment will be held in Lane Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.
Christopher was born on August 26, 1977, in Amarillo, TX to Roberto and Josefa (Gonzalez) Alvarez. He graduated from Sunray High School in 1997 and went on to attend OPSU for a year. Christopher married Denia Deregules on April 17, 2021 in Dumas, TX. He was an avid sports fan with his favorite teams being the Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. He was always up for a good time and loved to joke with people. He treated all his nephews and nieces as his own and loved his family deeply. His grandchild was the light of his eye.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother: Herman Alvarez.
Christopher is survived by his wife Denia Deregules of the home; daughters: Cynthia Molina of Dumas, TX, Alejandra Molina of Loveland, CO; son: Angel Molina of the home; grandson: Mateo Hernandez; siblings: Bryan Alvarez and wife Tiki of Edmond, OK, Estella Alvarez of Haltom City, TX, Randy Alvarez and wife Joy of Amarillo, TX and Albert Alvarez and wife Maria of Sunray, TX along with numerous nieces and nephews.
