It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christa Garrett of Dumas, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Barker and Estella Barker. She is survived by: her husband David Garrett; her children, John Hall and Jessica Akintunde of Pocahontas; her brother-in-law Bob; and her sister Sharon Stembridge of Graham, Texas..

In lieu of customary remembrances the family requests that memorials be made to Poodle Patch Rescue, 4112 South Kings Hwy, Texarkana, TX 75501.
