She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Callie and Grandma Wilson (Grandpa Wilson); her daughter Mary Orthman; her mother-in-law Callie Orthman (Redforn); her husband Lewis Orthman; her siblings-in-law, Margie Payton, Pauline Payton, Leon Payton and John Payton; her brothers, Robert Wilson (Rosemary) and Rev. Thomas Wilson (Janet); her son-in-law Robert Mayfield; and her great great grandchild Audrey Rose.
She is survived by: her former husband Galen Sorensen; her siblings, Joe and Shannon; her aunts and uncles, Pauline, John Payton, Margie and Leon Payton; her brother Lewis "Lou" Orthman (Barbara); and her children, Susan Mayfield of Amarillo, Keith Sorensen of Atoka, OK., Lewis Orthman (Barb), Joe Orthman and Shannon Pool of Dumas. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to First Methodist Church of Dumas, Covenant Fellowship on Avondale in Amarillo, or Moore County Hospice in Dumas.
