He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McCoy and Hazel McCoy; and his son Vaughn. He is survived by: his daughter Trudy Odom (Ken); his granddaughters, Lindsay Hernandez (Gabe) and Meredith Hill (Jerrod); his great grandchildren, Colton and Cora Hill; his siblings, Winfred McCoy (Joyce) and Edna King (Bob); and his close friend Bonnie Price. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
