He is survived by : his children, Sherrie Day Wood of Colorado Springs and Micheal Day of Dublin; his grandchildren, Byron Thurman, Jr., Chad Coats, Micheal Day II and Meagan Day; and his siblings, Betty Sue Burge of Hamilton, Ray Day (Kay) of Covington, Burl Bybee, Billy Murphy and Kerrey Welch. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
