He is survived by: his wife Ona Mae Hester; his sons, Gary Don Hester II (Rachel) and Kenneth Lee Hester (Ashley); his siblings, Darwin Hester and Sherry Smith; and his grandchildren, Megan, Nichole, Jacob, Joseph and Haylee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
