She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edward and Mary Louise Spell of Houston Texas; her husband L. V. Bean; her siblings-in-law, James Bean, Stewart Bean, Morice Bean and Marie Williams; and her siblings, Jacqueline Lisle, Marianne Spell and Bobby Spell.

She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Cartwright (Gary); her grandson Matthew Cartwright; her great grandchild Caleb Cartwright; her grandchildren, Mark Cartwright and Kylie Marie Self (Kendall); her daughters, Julie (Dellas Binion) and Carolyn Sexton; and her nieces and nephews, Randall Theriot, Mark Bean, Melinda Theriot and Martha Lee Bean.
