She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Lonzo Millous Lawson and Mona Adele Lawson (Bridges); her husband William E. Bruton; her grandson James Henry; and her siblings, Doyle Lawson, Elton Lawson, David Lawson, Carroll Lawson and Ruby Barrett.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy; her son-in-law Bo Henry of Dripping Springs; her sons, Jim (Linda Bruton) and Jerry (Laura Bruton); her brother C. L. Lawson (Marva) of Little River; and her sister-in-law Barbara Lawson of Wolfforth. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
