He was predeceased by: his sister Becky Ward Wallis; and his parents, Johnnie Q. Ward and Grace Preston Ward. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hartmann Ward; his son Weston Ward (Zanna); and his granddaughter Courtney Ward of Dripping Springs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
