He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Dodd and Jeanne Dodd. He is survived by: his wife Sandra K. Dodd of Austin; his daughters, Sarah Varner (Foy) of Buda, Katherine Dodd of Austin and Elizabeth Dodd of Austin; and his siblings, Chris Dodd of Round Rock, Regina Grant (Neil) of San Antonio, Maria Mock (J. C.) of Mclean, VA, Michelle Dodd of San Antonio and Phillip Dodd (Julie) of Keller. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org and the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org. Donations to the Ruppert Cemetery in Cheapside, Texas may be given to Beverly Mozisek, PO Box 1274 Shiner, TX 77984.
