He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch James Needham and Beulah Marie Lawrence Needham; his siblings, Bobby James Needham, Enoch Norwood Needham (Buzzy), Shirley Marie Ragland and Peggy Ann Montgomery; and his great-aunt Vina Ann Norwood.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joey C. Needham (Della), Minnie K. Jenkins, Cherry J. Fry (George) and Donna C. Needham; and his nephews, Bo Needham, Tim Montgomery, Cary Joe Needham, Lewis Jenkins, James Fry and Tommy Fry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
