Arlene Chisholm Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Chisholm of Dripping Springs, Texas, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Chisholm; her son-in-law Skip Morrison; her parents, Charles Lay, and Bertie Lay, Sr. (Stark); and her siblings, Dorothea Lay, Mary Nix, Margaret Henschel, Robert Lay, Sr., Charles Lay, Jr., Bert Lay, Sr., J. C. Lay and Janie Kirk.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Chisholm; her granddaughter Kaylen Morrison; her nephews, Richard and Robert Opheim; her stepgrandchildren, Daniel Morrison, Kimberly Tucker (Morrison) and Christopher Foster; and her cousins, Deborah Penn, Tommie Yanik and Sandra Florhaug.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harrel Funeral Home of Austin (4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (3701 W Slaughter Ln, Austin, TX 78749). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fitzhugh Cemetery.
