We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025, at the age of 89, Royce Martin Hancock of Douglassville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Royce Martin had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Royce Martin may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wesley and Era Madano Hancock; his wife Mary Sue Hancock; and his son Martin Douglass Hancock. He is survived by: his daughter Beverly Hancock; his sister Margaret Endsley; and his nephews, Charles Endsley (Sandra), Dale Endsley (Diane) and Darrell Endsley (Shannon). He is also survived by two grandchildren; and a host of other friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hanner Funeral Service (103 W Main St, Atlanta, TX 75551). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
