It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Brown Jr. of Douglassville, Texas, who passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Brown and Minnie Brown of Douglassville, TX.; his wife Linda Brown; and his siblings, Vera Pickings, Alice Brown and James Brown.

He is survived by: his daughter Kristi Horsley (Kelvin) of Douglassville, TX.; his sisters, Vera Brown of Douglassville, TX. and Betty Kyle of Douglassville, TX.; his uncle Autris Baynane Dickerson of Douglassville, TX.; and his grandchildren, Austin Brown of Douglassville, TX., Kelvin Horsley Jr. of Douglassville, TX., Orlando Horsley of Douglassville, TX., Aaire Ivory of Houston, TX. and Sunni Horsley of Douglassville, TX.. He is also survived by nieces' nephews relatives and friends.
