We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2023, at the age of 92, Vernie Lee Netherton of Douglass, Texas, born in Eakly, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alfred and Mamie Ruby McGlathery Netherton; his wife Lois Netherton; and his daughter Lois "Ann" Bolin. He is survived by: his children, Don (Lori Netherton), Jerry (Tammy Netherton) and Norma Jean Peck of Pasadena; and his brothers, Johnnie Netherton of Dill City, OK and Henry Netherton of Lufkin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
