Yvonne Marie Eckert Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Marie Eckert of Doss, Texas, who passed away on November 22, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Yvonne Marie Eckert to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her father Sammy Harper; her sister Micky Harper Berry; her siblings-in-law, Gai Ann Harper, Rosemary Harper, Myrtle Geistweidt, Violet Itz and Homer Geistweidt; her son-in-law Hal Pilcher; and her mother Marie Moore Harper.

She is survived by: her children, Ernie Eckert of Doss, Larry Eckert (Jana) of Abilene, Jimmie Jill Pilcher of Doss and Ellen Eckert of Doss; her grandchildren, Amber Adams (Jack), Elise Studer (Preston), Brandon Pilcher, Morgan Pilcher (Brandon Roberson), Evan Eckert and Nicholas Eckert; her great grandchildren, Ashtyn Eckert, Addison Adams and Presley Studer; her brothers, Dayton Harper (Mitzi) and Sam Harper Jr.; her brother-in-law Roy Itz; and her husband Ervin Eckert. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins plus a multitude of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in her honor and to recognize her service to her employers which include Hilda United Methodist Church, Friends of Doss School, Doss Community Improvement Club, Doss Saint Peter Lutheran Church, and Doss Primitive Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
