With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Macaria Alvarez of Donna, Texas, who passed away on May 15, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Peralez and Donicia Peralez (Sanchez); her husband Carmen Alvarez; her brothers, Abraham Peralez, Frank Peralez and Paul Peralez; her grandson Gerardo Manual Hinojosa; and her great grandchildren, Kristian "Andrew" Gutierrez and Delia Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Petra A. Peña (Demitrio), Nora Alvarez, Diana Gutierrez (Daniel), Joe Alvarez (Dela), Maria E. Hinojosa, Oscar Alvarez and Richard Alvarez (Angie); her siblings, Andrea Palomo, Enedina Garza, Tony Peralez, Mary Marquez, Elida Ramirez, Joe Peralez, Gloria Peralez, Bernado Peralez, Mary Peralez, Margaret Garcia and Robert Peralez; her grandchildren, Chris, Sonja, Erica, Marco, Jackie, Nicole, Amanda, Daniel, Melissa, Adam, Victoria, Veronica, Roy, Jazmin and Jesenia; and her stepmother Maria Peralez. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
